Watching so many people finally experience the genius that is Hamilton is one of the most exciting things ever. If you know me, you know this show has been a huge part of my life for years. I had a countdown on my phone for the soundtrack release back in 2015 — and I genuinely haven’t stopped listening since.
When tickets for the Chicago run dropped in 2016, I ditched school and had my phone, laptop, family computer, and an iPad all pulled up just for the chance to grab seats. I saw Hamilton for the first time in 2017 and was lucky enough to experience it again with Dylan in 2019. That same year, Dylan and I even went to Hamilton: The Exhibition and completely nerded out over every detail.
This musical is a masterpiece that captured my heart the moment I heard it. To see so many people falling in love with it now fills me with so much joy. Art like this reminds me why I’m so passionate about storytelling — and why I’ll always believe that great stories change lives.
